The "Envols" being hybrid, half-men half-birds, are characters imagined back in 2007.
« I wanted to materialize the pressure i feel for having a material and spiritual nature. Heaven and earth.
I imagine all of us feeling the same way, that explains the great success of these flights.
Some of us see birds and others angels. The flight can express all kind of releasing emotions and situations.
I set it up in groups and also individual. The flyer continues inspiring me: the flyer with cat’s head, the flyer-menin, the double flyer, the tree-flyer ... »
Technique and materials
In white or colored porcelain: the flyer is poured into plaster molds of different sizes, then enameled.
In resin: it is molded in plaster + silicone molds.
Others: are made of porcelain with a 3D printer
Others: are made up of molds and 3D printing.
